How to read it
- On the bill, press Cement in the row of tabs.
- Each item that uses cement shows its measured quantity, the cement figure per unit (Coeff) and the cement in quintals.
- The totals are at the bottom: Quintals, Metric tonnes and Bags of 50 kg.
- Tick Keep full description for the book's full wording, or change a description by hand.
Things to know
- Cement is claimed on the measured quantity. An item not measured yet stays blank.
- DSR 2023 has 604 cement figures in its Vol 2 appendix. DSR 2016's are not in yet, so on a DSR 2016 tender the statement is made by hand.
- Not on this statement lists items that use cement but have no figure in the appendix, with what CPWD's DAR 2023 says for them. Press Add DAR figure to use it, or Add my figure to type your own quintals per unit.
- Add another item puts any item of this bill on the statement by hand.
- The book prints some figures per 100 units. The Coeff column shows the figure per 1 unit, with the book's figure under it.
- In the excel, the Cement sheet is there only when something is on it.
How it is worked out
Each line, and the totals, are worked out like this:
| Item | Working | Cement (Qtl) |
|---|---|---|
| 13.1.1, 12 mm plaster 1:4 | 120 sqm x 0.0547 | 6.56 |
| 4.1.3, cement concrete 1:2:4 | 25.5 cum x 3.20 | 81.60 |
| Total | 88.16 |
| Total in | Working | Figure |
|---|---|---|
| Metric tonnes | 88.16 / 10 | 8.82 |
| Bags of 50 kg | 88.16 x 2, to a whole bag | 176 |
The book prints 5.47 quintals per 100 sqm for 13.1.1, which is 0.0547 per sqm. 1 quintal is 100 kg, which is 2 bags of 50 kg.
