2. Agreeing to these terms

By using this website you agree to Part A and Part D. When you make an account on ContractBill you also agree to Part B, and when you make an account on RateAnalyser you also agree to Part C. Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms.

You must be 18 or above to make an account. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

3. What each one is

4. The rate books

ContractBill reads rates from the CPWD Delhi Schedule of Rates (DSR) and from other departmental rate books. RateAnalyser shows the CPWD Delhi Analysis of Rates (DAR) 2023.

• The department owns the book. The DSR and the DAR are published by the Central Public Works Department, and CPWD owns the copyright in them. We claim no right in the books themselves.
• What you pay us for is our own work: reading the books, checking their arithmetic, keeping the printed page number against every rate, and the software built on top of them.
• We are not connected with CPWD or with any government department. Nothing in our services means a department has approved us, checked us or endorsed us.
• If a department asks us in writing to take its book out of our services, we will do it promptly and without asking why.
• The printed book is the final word. Where our copy and the printed book disagree, the printed book is right, and we would be grateful if you tell us.

5. Check before you use it

We take real care with rates, page numbers and calculation, and we test our work against bills that departments have passed. Even so:

• A bill made on ContractBill is yours. ContractBill does not sign it and does not submit it. You submit it, and you answer for it.
• A rate shown on RateAnalyser is for you to understand and check the rate. Always check it against the published book before you use it in a bill.
• The figures on this website are counted from our own data, and the sample bill on it uses sample quantities.

6. What you must not do

• Do not copy our rate data out of our services to sell it, publish it or give it away.
• Do not use scripts, scrapers or bulk downloads to pull out the rate books.
• Do not share your login. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• Do not upload papers you have no right to hold, or anything that carries a virus or is meant to break the software.
• Do not try to reach another person's account or another firm's workspace, or any part of the system you have not been given.
• Do not resell our services or run them as your own without our written agreement, and do not use our names in a way that makes people think you are us.

If you do any of this we can stop your account, and we will tell you why.

7. Our names and our work

The names Revenin, ContractBill and RateAnalyser, the logos, the words, the design and the software are ours. You may link to this website and quote from it. Please do not copy it.

8. The Custom works form

Sending the form asks us a question and nothing more. It does not make an agreement and it does not fix a price. If we build something for you, what we build, what it costs and when it is ready will be agreed with you separately, in writing.

10. Your account and your firm

• You can make an account with your mobile number or with Google. Give us your real name, mobile number and firm name.
• Keep your code to yourself, and write to admin@revenin.com at once if you think somebody has got into your account.
• Your tenders sit inside your firm's account, and no other customer can open them. Do not share your login, because anybody who signs in with it can see your rates and your quoted percentage.
• If you are a billing consultant, you make the bills in your own account and give the files to the contractor.

11. Your papers and your bills stay yours

You keep every right in the tenders, Schedules of Work, award letters and bills you put into ContractBill. We do not become the owner of any of it, and we never sell it.

To run ContractBill we need your permission to hold your papers, read them and use them. We also use them to check our rate data, find our own mistakes, and make our software and our AI reading better, including training our own models. Part 9 of our Privacy Policy says this in full, and how to take your papers out of that use.

12. AI reading, and why you must still check

• ContractBill can read a photographed or scanned Schedule of Work, and an award letter, using an AI model. This saves you the typing. It does not remove your checking.
• The AI only reads what is printed on your paper. It never sets a rate. Every code it reads is matched against the rate book, and the book's rate, description and unit win over whatever was read from the picture.
• A poor scan can be misread. We show you everything the AI read, item by item, so you can correct it before it goes on the bill.
• Check the bill before you sign it and before you submit it.

13. What a bill costs

You pay per bill. There is no subscription and no monthly charge, and a bill you have paid for does not expire. One payment unlocks one bill, with multiple downloads and free corrections for as long as the bill exists, and AI credits for that tender.

• Your first bill is free, with 3 AI credits. It is 1 free bill per person, not per firm and not per account.
• Reading your papers only decides the price of that bill: up to 3 readings it is ₹1,199, and above that it is ₹1,499. We ask you on screen before a 4th reading moves the price, and past 5 readings you buy the bill first. Once a bill is paid for, we never charge you for that bill again.
• A bill you pay for is for one work. We tell one work from another by its items. You can always change the quantities, rates and measurements, and a different work is a different bill.
• GST. We are registered for GST, so 18% GST is added to these prices when you pay, as its own line on your invoice. If your firm is registered, give us your GSTIN and you can claim it back.
• Your bill unlocks the moment the payment goes through. A change in our prices never touches something you have already bought.

14. No refunds on ContractBill

We do not refund payments on ContractBill, so please check what you are buying before you pay. The price, the GST and what you get are shown before the payment page opens.

• A bill you have downloaded can be corrected. If a number on it is wrong, correct it and download it again, which is free, and write to us if it was our mistake.
• AI credits. If our AI read a clean paper badly, tell us and we will put the credit back.
• If money leaves your bank but the payment does not go through, Razorpay returns it to your account on its own, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
• If you paid and the bill did not unlock, do not pay again. Write to admin@revenin.com with the order number and we will unlock it.

16. Your account

• Every account is a mobile number. You sign in with a code sent to your mobile, or with Google.
• One account works on 2 devices at a time. Signing in on a 3rd device signs out the one used longest ago. Your Account page lists your devices so you can sign one out yourself.
• Do not share your account. A pass is for one person.

17. Free items

Every mobile number can open 3 items free. An item is used only when you press "Open free", never by visiting a page, and an item you open stays open for you. The 3 free items belong to the number, so a new account on the same number does not get 3 more.

Every mobile number also gets 3 free AI readings, and without a pass it can make up to 3 justifications free, each for a schedule of up to 100 rows. AI reading one Schedule of Work or one award letter uses 1 reading. The free readings and the free justifications belong to the number too, so deleting a justification or making a new account on the same number does not give them back, and more justifications need a pass.

18. Passes and prices

• A pass opens the full analysis of every item for as long as it runs.
• A pass does not renew by itself. There is no auto debit. If you buy one while another pass is running, it starts when the current one ends.
• A pass ends at midnight, India time, at the end of the last day shown on your Account page.
• GST. We are registered for GST, so 18% GST is added to these prices when you pay, as its own line on your invoice. If your firm is registered, give us your GSTIN and you can claim it back.
• The pass starts the moment the payment goes through. A change in our prices never touches a pass you have already bought.
• AI readings for Justification. Every pass comes with 3 more free AI readings, on top of the free ones of your number, and while a pass is running you can buy more in the packs below, at these prices plus GST. They never expire and they are not refunded, and AI reading one Schedule of Work or one award letter uses 1 reading.

19. Fair use

Each account can view up to 200 items and download up to 50 excel files a day. This is far more than a day's real work needs, and it is there so that one account cannot be used to copy the book. The count starts again each day.

20. No refunds on RateAnalyser

We do not refund payments on RateAnalyser, for a pass or for AI readings, so please check what you are buying before you pay.

• If money leaves your bank but the payment does not go through, Razorpay returns it to your account on its own, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
• If you paid and your pass did not start, do not pay again. Write to admin@revenin.com with your mobile number and the day you paid, and we will start it.

22. If something goes wrong

• We do not promise your department will pass your bill, or that any rate book is free of every mistake.
• We are not liable for a loss you suffer because a bill was returned, delayed, short paid or rejected, or because you used a rate without checking it against the published book.
• We are not liable for money you lose on a tender you did not win, on a quoted percentage you chose, or on any decision you took using our services.
• Our total liability to you, for everything put together, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. If you have paid us nothing, it is limited to ₹1,000.

Nothing here takes away a liability that Indian law does not allow us to take away, such as liability for fraud.

23. Ending it

You can stop using our services any time, and you can ask us to close your account by writing to admin@revenin.com. We close it and delete your data within 30 days, as our Privacy Policy says.

We can end your account if you break these terms, if you use our services in a way that harms other customers, or if the law requires it. We will tell you why, and where we can we will give you a chance to put it right first.

Keep your own copy of every excel and PDF you download. Files you have downloaded stay yours, but we cannot promise to hold them after an account is closed.

24. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, the new date goes at the top, and if the change is important we tell you by email or on screen before it takes effect. If you keep using our services after that, you accept the change.

25. Which law applies

Indian law applies to these terms, and the courts at Delhi will decide any dispute. Before you go to court, please write to us at admin@revenin.com. Most problems get sorted in one conversation.

26. The rest of it

• If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still stands.
• If we do not act on something once, we do not give up the right to act on it later.
• You cannot hand your account or these terms to somebody else without our written agreement. We may hand ours to a company we later form, or to a buyer of the business, and your rights do not change if we do.
• These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about our services.
