Privacy Policy
This policy covers this website, ContractBill and RateAnalyser. It says what each one collects, why we need it, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
No account and no cookies. The Docs pages count how many times each page is read, never who read it. We only get what you type into the Custom works form or send us by email.
Your account, your firm's details and your tenders and bills. We use your tenders to improve our software and train our own AI models, and we never sell them.
Your mobile number, your name, the items you open and your passes, and the schedules you check in Justification. The rates you change stay in your browser, unless you press Save to keep them in your account.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Revenin Technologies, a sole proprietorship of Tarun Kumar, runs this website, ContractBill and RateAnalyser, and decides what happens to the data described here. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, that makes us the Data Fiduciary.

2. What this policy covers
One policy covers all three, because one business runs them. Each part below says which one it is about.
| Service | Address | Do you need an account |
|---|---|---|
| This website | revenin.com | No |
| ContractBill | contractbill.revenin.com | Yes, to make a bill |
| RateAnalyser | analysis.revenin.com | Yes, to open the full rate analysis. The summary of every item is open to all |
Please read it before you make an account on ContractBill or RateAnalyser, because you accept it when you sign up. If anything here is not clear, write to admin@revenin.com and we will explain it.
This website
3. What this website collects
Nothing about you, unless you type it into the Custom works form or write to us. This website has no accounts and no sign in. It sets no cookies, and it runs no advertising scripts.
The Docs pages, at revenin.com/docs and at the same address on contractbill.revenin.com and analysis.revenin.com, count their visits with Vercel Web Analytics, so we know which help pages people read and can make them better. It sets no cookies. It tells us the page, the page you came from, your country, and the kind of device and browser, and it never tells us your name, your IP address or anything you type. The rest of this website counts nothing.
This website is run for us by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records each request to the site, with your IP address and your browser, so the site can be served and kept safe. We do not use these records to find out who you are.
4. The Custom works form
When you send the form on the Custom works page, we get:
- your name, your firm's name and your email address
- your mobile number, only if you give it because you want a call
- your industry and how many of these jobs you do in a month
- what you write about the work you want automated
We use it only to reply to you, to understand the work, and to tell you if we can automate it. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share it with anybody, except the companies that carry it to us. The form sends your details to our inbox by email, through ZeptoMail (Zoho), and sends a copy to the email address you give. This website keeps no copy of its own.
To stop the form being misused, we count for a short time how many forms come from one IP address, and how many copies go to one email address. These counts are kept only in the server's memory and are never written down.
5. If you write to us
When you send an email to admin@revenin.com, we get your email address and whatever you write or attach. We use it to answer you and to do what you asked. Our mailbox is run by Google.
If you ask us to tell you when ContractBill and RateAnalyser launch, we keep your email address until then and write to you once.
ContractBill
6. What you give us when you sign up
- Your name
- Your mobile number
- Your email address, if you sign up with Google
- Your firm's name
You can sign in with a code sent to your mobile, or with Google.
7. Your firm's details
You fill these in yourself, and only if you want to. They go on your bills and on your invoice from us.
- Firm name and what kind of firm it is
- GSTIN and PAN
- Your department enrollment number
- State and registered office address
When you pay, we also ask for the details your invoice needs: firm name, mobile number, invoice email, address, pincode and state, and your GSTIN if you have one. We keep them so you do not have to type them again.
8. Your work
- The bills you build, with every item, quantity, rate and amount on them
- Your quoted percentage, your correction factor and your cost index
- The tender details you fill in, such as the agreement number, the work name, the department and the dates
- The excel and PDF files we make for you, and any you save back to the tender
- The name and status you give each tender
The scan or photo you send for AI reading is kept with your tender. It goes to the AI, comes back as rows you can see and correct, and we keep the picture so you can check a line against the paper later. Nobody outside your firm can open it, and when you delete the tender, the picture goes with it.
9. How we use your tenders and your bills
Please read this part carefully. It is the one that goes furthest. Besides building your bill, we use the tender papers you upload and the bills you make on ContractBill to:
- check our rate data against real paperwork, and find our own mistakes
- see where our AI reading goes wrong, and make it read better
- test the software against real bills before we change it
- train our own AI models, so ContractBill gets better at reading papers and building bills
- work out how the product is used, in numbers, so we know what to build next
What we will never do with it:
- We never sell your data, and we never rent it or trade it.
- We never show your tender, your rates or your quoted percentage to another customer, and no other customer can open your workspace.
- We never publish anything that names you, your firm, your department or your tender without asking you first.
If you do not want your papers used in this way, write to admin@revenin.com. We will take your tenders out of that use, and you can carry on using ContractBill normally. Anything already learned before you write to us cannot be taken back out of a model that is already trained, and we would rather say that plainly than promise something we cannot do.
10. Payments on ContractBill
- What you bought, when, and how much you paid
- The order and payment reference from Razorpay
- The details for your invoice, as part 7 says
We never see or keep your card number, your UPI PIN or your bank login. Razorpay runs the payment page and we only get back a reference and a yes or no.
11. Technical records on ContractBill
- Your IP address and your browser, kept with your sign in and with the codes we send you, so we can spot somebody trying to break in
- A note of every AI reading, with the model used, the size of the file and how much of the AI it used
- Error records when something in the software goes wrong
RateAnalyser
12. Your account
- Your mobile number. Every RateAnalyser account is a mobile number
- Your name
- Your email address, only if you sign in with Google, and whether Google has checked it
You sign in with a code sent to your mobile, or with Google. RateAnalyser has no passwords.
13. What you open
- The items you open free. Every mobile number can open 3 items free. We keep a scrambled copy of your number with them, because the 3 free items belong to the number and not to the account.
- Your passes. Which pass you have, when it starts and when it ends, and whether it came from a payment.
- How much you use it each day. A count of the items you view and the files you download each day, for the fair use limit in our Terms. It is a number for each day, not a list of the items.
- Changes you save. When you press Save on an item, the rates you changed and the name you give them.
- Your justifications. The Schedule of Work you check in Justification, as you confirm it: each item, quantity and rate, the tender details, the market rates you type, and your decision and remark on each item. With your free justifications and free AI readings we keep the scrambled copy of your number too, because they belong to the number.
- Your AI readings. How many you have, and how many you have used.
The file you upload for AI reading is deleted as soon as it is read. It goes to the AI and comes back as rows you can see and correct, then we delete the file, even when the reading fails. We keep what the AI read from it, and the rows as you confirmed them, to see where our AI reading goes wrong and make it read better. Nobody else can see them, and deleting a justification does not delete them.
14. Rates you change
When you change a rate on an item to see the new cost, the change is kept in the page address in your browser. That is why you can send the link to somebody and they see the same figures, and why it is gone when you close the page without saving the link. We do not keep it on our servers unless you press Save. Then we keep your changes and the name you give them, until you delete them or close your account.
15. Payments on RateAnalyser
- Which pass or pack of AI readings you bought, when, and how much you paid
- The order and payment reference from Razorpay, how you paid (for example UPI or card) and whether it went through
- The details for your tax invoice: your name and your state, and if you add your firm's GSTIN, the firm's name, address, pincode and GSTIN. We keep them so the form is filled in next time.
We do not keep your email, your mobile number or your UPI id from the payment, and we never see your card number, your UPI PIN or your bank login. You give those to Razorpay on its own payment page.
16. Technical records on RateAnalyser
- Your signed in devices, with the IP address, the browser and how you signed in. One account works on 2 devices at a time, and your Account page lists them so you can sign one out.
- The codes we send you, with the IP address that asked for them, so we can stop somebody guessing codes
- A note of every AI reading, with the model used, the names and size of the files, and how much of the AI it used
For all three
17. Why we use your data
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give us when you sign up or send us the form, and for the purposes below.

We do not send you marketing messages unless you ask for them, and you can stop them any time.
18. Who else sees it
We use other companies to run our services. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job, and none of them may use your data for its own purposes.
| Company | What it does | For | What it gets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Runs the website and both products, and counts visits to the Docs pages | All three | Every request you make, with your IP address and browser |
| Supabase | Runs our databases, in Mumbai | ContractBill, RateAnalyser | Everything in parts B and C that we keep |
| Cloudflare (R2) | Stores files | ContractBill, RateAnalyser | Your uploaded papers and the excel and PDF files we make. On RateAnalyser, only the file you upload for AI reading, until it is read |
| Anthropic | The AI that reads your papers | ContractBill, RateAnalyser | Only the paper you ask us to read, at the moment you ask |
| Razorpay | Takes payments | ContractBill, RateAnalyser | What you give on its payment page, and the amount |
| MSG91 | Sends the sign in code by SMS | ContractBill, RateAnalyser | Your mobile number and the code |
| ZeptoMail (Zoho) | Sends our emails | ContractBill, this website | Your email address and what the email says |
| Sign in with Google, and our mailbox | All three | Your name and email from Google, if you sign in with it, and the emails you send us |
Besides these, we share your data only when the law requires it, such as an order from a court or a government authority, and only as far as the order goes. If we ever sell the business or turn it into a company, your data goes with it, and this policy keeps applying until we tell you otherwise.
19. Where your data is kept
- Both databases are in Mumbai, India.
- ContractBill's servers run in Mumbai. RateAnalyser's servers run in Mumbai too.
- ContractBill's files, and the files you upload to RateAnalyser until they are read, are kept with Cloudflare, in the Asia-Pacific region.
- The AI reading on ContractBill and RateAnalyser happens outside India, mostly in the United States. Razorpay, Google, Cloudflare and Zoho may also handle some data outside India.
We send only what is needed, and we do not send data to any country the Central Government has stopped us from sending it to.
20. How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| ContractBill tenders, bills and files | As long as your account is open, because an RA Bill is paperwork you may need for years. You can delete a tender yourself any time, and its files go with it. |
| The scan sent for AI reading | With its tender. Deleting the tender deletes the picture. |
| RateAnalyser account, passes and free items | As long as your account is open. |
| RateAnalyser changes you save | Until you delete them or close your account. |
| RateAnalyser justifications | Until you delete them or close your account. |
| The file you upload to RateAnalyser for AI reading | Deleted as soon as it is read, even when the reading fails, and within a day at the most. |
| What the AI read from it | As long as your account is open, even after you delete the justification. |
| Your account, when you ask us to close it | Deleted within 30 days of the day you ask, on either product. RateAnalyser shows the date on your Account page. |
| Payment records and invoices | As long as Indian tax law says we must, even after you leave: 8 years. |
| Sign in records | 12 months on ContractBill. On RateAnalyser, while your account is open. |
| The record of when Revenin opened or changed something of yours | Kept even after your account is closed. |
| Sign in codes | Only until they are used or they run out. |
| Your form or email to us | As long as we are talking or working with you, then 1 year after. |
21. When Revenin opens your account
Only the proprietor can open your workspace or your account, or change something in it, and only to fix a fault or when you have asked for help. He does it through a separate admin console, which asks him for a reason first.
If you want to see when he opened or changed something of yours, write to admin@revenin.com and we will switch on a list for your account. On ContractBill it is under Organisation, then Access record. On RateAnalyser it is on your Account page. We can switch it off again if you ask.
22. How we keep it safe
- Every connection to our services is encrypted.
- Sign in codes and sign in tokens are stored scrambled, so nobody at our end can read them.
- One firm's data is walled off from another firm's inside the database itself, not only in the software, and the same is true of RateAnalyser accounts.
- Every payment confirmation from Razorpay is checked with a signature before we give you anything, so a fake message cannot unlock a bill or a pass.
No system is perfectly safe. If your data is ever leaked, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
23. Cookies
This website sets no cookies. ContractBill and RateAnalyser use cookies only to keep you signed in and to keep the sign in safe. There is no advertising cookie and no tracking cookie from anybody else. If you block these cookies, signing in will not work.
24. What you can ask us to do
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and who we have shared it with. We can give you a copy as a file, with your details and your records, but not your files, your password or other people's details.
- Correct it if it is wrong, or complete it if something is missing.
- Delete it, unless the law makes us keep it, such as payment records.
- Withdraw your consent. Withdrawing it fully means we can no longer run your account, so we will treat it as closing your account and tell you before we do anything.
- Name somebody to act for you if you die or cannot act for yourself.
Write to admin@revenin.com. We answer within 30 days, and it costs nothing. We may ask you to prove who you are first, so that nobody else can ask for your data.
25. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not for anybody under 18. We do not knowingly collect data about children. If you think a child has made an account, write to admin@revenin.com and we will remove it.
26. Our Grievance Officer
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, write to our Grievance Officer and he will answer within 30 days.

27. Changes to this policy
